About

I combine leadership, architecture and hands-on technology: I have designed and built greenfield infrastructures, led technology organisations as CTO and have been consulting at the intersection of management and IT for more than 20 years.

Design, planning and build of complete greenfield infrastructures – for enterprise environments as well as isolated air-gapped environments.

Experience as CTO, managing director and Lead IT Infrastructure: building and steering teams, most recently of up to 30 people, leading partners and vendors, taking responsibility.

Security as an architecture principle

Translating frameworks such as BSI IT-Grundschutz or ISO/IEC 27001 into concrete technical measures – up to infrastructures designed for the requirements of VS-NfD (German restricted classification) or NIST SP 800-171.

Bridging management and technology

Strategic advice at decision-maker level and hands-on at the same time: I run my own infrastructure in a data center and automate it almost entirely with Ansible.

    Design, planning and greenfield build of an enterprise and an air-gapped infrastructure; team of up to 30; application owner for individual applications.

    Co-founder & CTO, IoT company
    Built up the company; chief architect; design and development lead for an NB-IoT platform (device-to-cloud) and an asset tracking solution.
