It is not only necessary to know programming languages, software paradigm like object-oriented programming or development frameworks like Scrum. It is also very important to talk to different kind of people, from top manager to engineers, speak their languages, understand their point of view and integrate their input into one general concept.

Lyn has worked for more than seven years as consultant within the HR industry. Working for some of the top consulting companies like Kienbaum or Delta Amrop Hever he has successfully led projects with some of the top leaders in Germany and Europe. His main focus was the IT and Telecom sector as well as real estate, public services and infrastructure companies.

As software developer, project leader and interims manager he has been working for several small companies and startups as freelancer. In his engagements he headed teams in web-based projects as well as in projects for embedded software and hardware development.

As managing director for IP500 Alliance (http://www.ip500alliance.org) he supported the members of the alliance (big players within their industries like Siemens, Bosch, Honeywell, Assa Abloy, Tyco, UTC etc.) to define and establish the Alliance as well as the IP500® standard, an international industry specification for interoperable and low-power wireless building automation based on common standards like IPv6, 6LoWPAN and BACnet.
